Google wrote about the update on their Search ranking updates page on September 9. There was no big shake-up in the search results during this update. Only after it was completed were widespread fluctuations detected.
The “name” and “email” URL parameters can be used to pre-fill the customer name and email in a checkout. Ex: /store/checkout?name=John&email=john@domain.com
The additional fields on checkout can also be prefilled via URL parameters.
The update rollout started on July 27 and it will last about three weeks. This is the 4th version of Google's Product Reviews Update. As we can see on August 5, almost all tracking tools do not show any abnormal ranking volatility. SEO chats are also quiet.
Only a few weeks after the previous big update. Google announced that the new update started on August 25. The update rollout will last about two weeks. No ranking fluctuations have been detected at the moment.
The fourth product review update has been completed. It was a record-breaking update that took only 6 days out of an estimated 14-21 days. No SEO forums nor automated tracking tools displayed any significant ranking volatility during the update.
